How It Works

You’ll take turns at your table. One person pitches while the others listen. After everyone has heard a pitch, pick the next pitcher and repeat.

When you are the pitcher:

1. Click Start Pitching below and explain your app idea (~2 minutes). What problem does it solve? Who is it for? How does it work?
2. When you’re done talking, click I’m Done. A 6-letter code will appear.
3. Click Show Code and flip your laptop around so your listeners can see it.
4. While your listeners type their summaries, ask them for verbal feedback — what was clear? What was confusing? Any suggestions?
5. Type up the feedback you heard and click Submit Feedback. You’ll then see what your listeners wrote.

When you are a listener:

1. Listen to the pitcher’s idea.
2. When the pitcher shows their code, enter it in the Listen to a Pitch section below.
3. Write a brief summary of what you heard and click Submit Summary.
4. Give the pitcher verbal feedback about their pitch.

Attendance

To earn attendance, you need to:

• Pitch once — at least one listener submits a summary, and you record their feedback
• Listen to at least 2 pitches — enter the code and submit a summary for each one you hear
• Stay until everyone at your table has pitched
